7 photographs of black and white architecture
Every other week, I will bring you a round up of inspirational photographs I have found around the web. I would love for you to point out any photographs you have seen by either leaving a comment or send me an email. Anyway, here we go.
Black and white architecture
Photographing architecture is more difficult that you would first think. Lenses curve lines and distort reality, so a lot of consideration has to be given to accurate architectural photography. Having a good knowledge of the subject and being able to capture it from a new and fresh angle is what makes good architectural photography stand out.
Lighting architecture also has it headaches. Small subjects can be lit using flash etc. However, large buildings have to rely on natural lighting. Waiting for that perfect moment, when the light is in the right place, at the correct strength can make all the difference. Deciding on the depth of field also plays a massive role in presenting the architecture to its best.
The architectural photographs all link to the original photographer, some of which have other great photographs in their galleries – spend a few moments and check them out.
I would love to get some feedback on these collection, so please comment below.
