Perranuthnoe photographed in Winter
Perranuthnoe captured in winter
The beach at Perranuthoe is a typical flat Cornish surf beach, yet not one known for the greatest waves. The level sand, with a rich hue evokes feeling, contrasting with the blues of the sea and sky.
The day this photograph was taken of the beach was a cold and drab January day in Cornwall. However the beach did yield and offer this opportunity.
It was that glassy reflection that caught, and led my eye, giving the image added depth and interest. Perranuthnoe beach will be a location I revisit to get other angles and subjects. it has a great deal to offer the photographer, roll on SUMMER!
I guess the photograph is simple, yet I agree with another flickr user who says
“Love the way the pool of water trails all the way to the sea.”
