Launch! the Lizard Life Boat

This photo, of the Life Boat slipway at the Lizard was taken using a slow shutter setting to get movement in the cloud and in the sea. The idea of the photo, is to create movement and confusion.
The sea was fantastic from the Lizard today, the most southerly point of mainland England. Strong breezes were mounting the sea swell against the strong spring tides, creating a confused sea. You can see a large breaker at the tip of the slipway in this photo if you look carefully. The occasional wave was covering most of the slipway and a great deal of care had to be taken getting this photo.
