A view of Cornwall

This was taken today of Dollar Cove in West Cornwall. The light and very low tide today made for some great opportunities to capture some digital images.

I guess I have spent about 10 mins post capture editing. Increasing the contrast in the sky and lightening up parts of the fore ground.

I love the rock pool in the foreground and the bright reflection from it, balancing the highlights in the sky. As you know I am very keen on black and white images, but this one had to be kept in full colour… It just to my mind deserves it. Cornwall is great at this time of the year for strong contrasting images. Squalls passing through on sunny days allows for great photography.
